Definitely one I could have read in one go!

Loved this book, held my attention from the beginning and I didn't guess the ending. Also very well narrated. Highly recommended.

I struggled with the previous book in the series so was wary of trying another, glad I gave it another go as this book kept my interest from beginning to end. A really good story and performance.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

Another great book by Anna Smith. Kept my interest from the first chapter and so well read by Sarah Barron. Looking forward to the next one!

A Bit Slow

I struggled to finish this book but stuck with it in short bursts as I did want to know how it ended. The last few chapters did pick up the pace and the ending tidied everything up. Not a book I could read again.

Just Brll

A great story that kept me enthralled all the way through with never a dull moment. The narration by Julia Barrie was first class with her repertoire of voices. Highly recommended.

Slow at First

I lost interest about a third of the way through this book as my attention kept wandering, read another book and then decided to give it another go. Glad I did as the pace finally picked up and I then thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the book. Excellent narrator.

Hard work

If you could sum up Fear the Future in three words, what would they be?

Far to long

Have you listened to any of R. C. Bray’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Any additional comments?

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books of this trilogy but found this one difficult to listen to so only listened for short periods at a time. There is a lot of technical detail, which although very clever I personally found boring. I also found the story from the perspective of the invaders very slow with a lot of detail which was not needed. After all the build up the actual invasion was short lived. At least there was an end of sorts but am left wandering if the author intends to write another book as some details were rather vague I thought.

Not for me

This book just didn't hold my attention, my mind kept wandering resulting in me having to keep rewinding. I managed to get to the end eventually but need not have bothered it was as boring as the rest. The narration was okay but didn't add anything exciting. Disappointing.

Another great book in series

Enjoyed this book although found this one took a bit longer to get going. Preferred the new pronunciation of Adrian, more believable for country of origin. Great narration as ever from Sarah Barron. Now on to the next😊
