Love the underlying humour that the Royal Marines share in this outing. Lots of action and the characters have really developed. Can’t wait for book 5.

I'll be the first to admit I struggled and wondered what I had done when I started listening to the book. However, it soon picks up and the early chapters are needed once the story explodes in spectacular fashion.

If you get this book please stick with it through the early chapters. It's worth it! Can't wait for the 2nd book to reach the top of my listening list.

I love how the characters have developed over the course of the books. You feel like you know them as well as a real life person. You can almost imagine what they are going to do, say and respond to a specific situation.

This latest outing is another winner and has really started to push other characters to the forefront of the series now.

It took me a little while to get into this book, the first hour was a little too slow for me with scene setting etc. But once I got past that it turned out to be a good book.

The story was ok, but I had to stop listening due to the narration. I don’t think the narrator took a breath in the first 3 paragraphs. There was no real pause between different characters. The voice just wasn’t suited to the story.

This wasn’t my usual type of book, but I’ll be honest I couldn’t stop listening to it! Actually really enjoyed it. It’s a series of communications interspersed with humour, sex and shenanigans

I didn’t know what to expect with this book. But I was pleasantly surprised and couldn’t stop listening once I started. Moving onto book 2 now.

This was a different type of read for me. There were some funny stories, thought provoking stories and I’ll be honest, some I just didn’t get into and skipped.

This book is good to dip in and out between other books as each chapter is a story.

Normally I shy away from books when any form of religion is mentioned as a theme. Gave this a go and I actually really enjoyed it.

Great story, fast moving and well written.

A great story which has given me an insight into what my own grandad went through. A very well written story which moves along at a decent pace, interlaced with some very amusing comedic moments. Highly recommended for something that's a little different.
