It shows how to be less judgmental in your listening and how to better understand the person to whom your speaking. The author has had plenty of experience working with couples and singles in counseling atmospheres and it shows it in his writing and When I started learning these skills to help others, the first person that I helped was myself. Bought a large quantity of these for friends who poo, poo this practice. One like's the product, the rest of my friends, who knows. I know it works, and a little more knowledge is always helpful. I liked it! Aside from the promised tutorial, Phil Pierce presents a comprehensive collection of scientific studies supporting the practice of meditation. From lowering stress to improving performance at work, the evidence is presented here. Easy to read and straight forward. Very helpful for setting up a daily practice.

I suffered from social anxiety and Pyroluria for years, without even knowing that there was a name for my condition. The tips in this book along with the suggestions for the proper amino acids to take for it changed my life. I feel so much better now. This book is amazing, everyone should listen it whether they have anxiety or not, as it covers so many aspects of diet, nutrition and supplements. It is very encouraging - rather than berate yourself for not being able to get off sugar, try amino acid support for those cravings - a great paradigm shift away from shame around diet.
