Marley Gray is just an ordinary girl when she moves to a new city to start college. She doesn't know that magic even exists, much less that she is the descendant of one of the most powerful witches to have ever walked the earth. As far as she knows, she has classes to sign up for, parties to attend, and an overprotective father to avoid.

I absolutely adore TV series like vampire diaries ...charmed ... pretty little liars etc they are my guilty pleasure. The twisted magic collection fills this gap for me as it is very reminiscent of this genre . It would make an amazing show. The books have had me engrossed from the start. I find the characters very relatable and the books just flowed. I have only listened to the first three as yet as it's such a big series with a long runtime but this is a massive bonus for me . I think its brilliant value for money for anybody wanting such a big fictional adventure to get lost in . The way each book ends makes you want to carry on with the next to see where it will take you next as they end on a series of cliffhangers and there are lots of twists and turns along the way . highly recommended such a great price for such a large collection . . There's no place like home.... Kim and Julian Taylor are in the market for their first home, and a visit to the secluded Beacon estate finds them enamored. It's a peculiar home, rather large and in need of some renovations. The price is right, however, and after a tour, they snap the house up without hesitation. The man who sells them the house has one last detail to share before they sign on the dotted line. The previous owners of the home disappeared under mysterious circumstances nearly eight years ago and have recently been declared dead in absentia.

firstly I would like to say that I absolutely adore any book or film that puts me at the edge of my seat and this story did not fail to disappoint. it is atmospheric and slowly builds and builds until you dont realise how fast you have become engrossed into the storyline . I listened to this at night and it just added to the feel of the book. the narration was on point and the book just flowed. at some points I thought it became repetitive but i hadn't realised that this is a collection of more than one book hence the recaps. i would advise anybody that likes on edge jumpiness to purchase the collection rather than the individual books as I almost guarantee that once you start listening to this tale you will want to purchase the full set anyway . I have recently bought a nutribullet but tend to keep making the same smoothies through lack of creativity . I love how this book is literally jam packed with ideas and are split accordingly into sections and categorised by health benefits. for me I was particularly drawn to the detox sections. The recipes themselves are idiotproof and are narrated precisely. Again I love how there is no uneccessary chat this is literally just a straight to the point . Audible is a great place for a book like this as it can be read through alexa in the kitchen itself and I can always ask to repeat to hear the ingredients etc again.

firstly i would like to say that before listening to this book I had never heard of this particular fairy tale. I grew up with all the classic childhood stories bring read to me night after night until I knew them off by heart and word for word to this day.
It was so refreshing to hear something completely new to me and it was a breath of fresh air from the other overtold tales.
The book is wonderfully narrated and is completely engaging to listeners of any age. In my opinion it is just the right length to tell a good story but not lose the interest of younger listeners with shorter attention spans. It is the sort of traditional and whimsical story that takes you back to your carefree childhood and I loved every minute . In this day and age I think there is a need to keep retelling stories like this to keep the magic alive. Highly recommended

I watched the film and in all honesty whilst I thought it was okay I found it a little bit of a let down after all the hype it received . on the other hand I thought the audio book was amazing and it had me engrossed from the start to finish. will Wheaton is a brilliant narrator and added to the intense pace of the book . would recommend this for all ages it reminded me a lot of the 80s geeky sci fi genre.
