Jesus promises peace and trouble for his followers. But most of us accept the peace and are confused and angry when adversity comes our way. All-American soccer star Mo Isom knows the struggle firsthand. While her life seemed like a success, she was battling an eating disorder, the suicide of her father, and a horrific car accident. It wasn't until God wrecked her life that she discovered the glory of renewal through Jesus Christ and that wreckage can be sacred rather than scarring.

I thought this story was very honestly and powerfully told and the author's faith really shone through. Quotes from the Word of God were weaved in which was a wonderful bonus for me and helps the book to resonate. It is a story of transformation in Christ that will inspire those who have faced struggles. The chapter on eating disorder and the role the enemy plays in this was very revealing and a helpful insight. I think Mo could really help young girls and be a role model for them. I hope she's getting the opportunity to witness in schools. God bless

This best seller tells of the young Dutch factory worker's incredible efforts to transport Bibles across closed borders - and the miraculous ways in which God provided for him every step of the way. Brother Andrew's story remains as inspiring today as it was 35 years ago, and with this new release, it will motivate a whole new generation to risk everything to follow God's call.
