I started off interested but by around the fourth chapter I was getting bored of the constant Bible references. I have nothing against the Bible whatsoever however the author seemed to run out of analogies.

This book puts very complicated science into layman's categories and explanations which is good and I have found it very helpful in dealing with anxiety. However Steve Peters is quite difficult to listen to. I fell asleep a few times. There is no animation in his voice whatsoever and doesn't read it as if he wrote it at all! The worst thing, however, is the way he pronounces 'human' as 'uman' all the way through, I switched it off a couple of times due to this! This is probably one to actually read, not listen to!
