I really enjoyed the way tge story was put together. It was a bit like an audio version of the 'found footage horror films that Im a big fan of. I also liked that it was episodic, as the recaps help, I tend to forget what happened and it's unrealistic to think you can listen to an audiobook longer than 2 hours in one sitting, which most are.

The story was pretty good, it kept me hooked. The ending was ok, nothing spectacular but it left me feeling satisfied.

On the whole, well worth a listen if you enjoy contemporary thrillers.

Whether you're currently in debt, or not, this book is extremely useful, and is the pep talk that everyone should receive when they're younger. However, regardless of your age, you'll learn a lot from this audiobook. It's a very interesting eye opener, and read very well by the author. He instills passion into the book, which helps for a topic as dry as money.

If you are in debt, it provides a plan for getting out of debt (common sense really but presented well), as well as dealing with your money if you're not in debt. It really is a total money makeover, it's not too long, and it's interesting and informative. Highly recommended if you're looking for this type of thing.

A mesmerizing, behind-the-scenes business thriller that chronicles how Sega, a small, scrappy gaming company led by an unlikely visionary and a team of rebels, took on the juggernaut Nintendo and revolutionized the videogame industry. In 1990, Nintendo had a virtual monopoly on the videogame industry. Sega, on the other hand, was just a faltering arcade company with big aspirations and even bigger personalities. But all that would change with the arrival of Tom Kalinske.

This was an outstanding listen. I remember the first console war, and its trailblazing journey to create the established gaming industry we enjoy today.

This is a fascinating account of those times, with interesting characters and stories throughout. It also works as a grand business story, even if gaming isn't your thing.

The narrator is the best I've ever heard. The perfect voice for this, and the other characterisations worked well.

Overall, one of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to, if not the best one.

From Matt Shaw (Sick B*stards) comes a new short story following a working girl as she tries getting her life back on track after one session goes very, very wrong. Violent, tragic, sad, and sweet. This one has everything.

A short story, which while not particularly twisted as the title suggests, but actually I found it to be a decent piece of drama. It ended a bit abruptly, as many short stories do, I felt it could have developed a bit more. That said, I did enjoy it, and it was well read by the narrator.

Warning: This is an extreme horror novel. There is gore. There is bad language. There are scenes of a sexual nature. But hidden underneath it all is also a chilling story. Please do not purchase this book if you are easily shocked, disgusted, or offended. This book is not for you. Would you give up your child if a stranger asked? No? What if they offered money? Still no? What if they threatened the rest of your family? Give your child up or lose your entire family in the most horrific way possible.

I was dubious about getting an audiobook with a Scottish narrator, but so glad I did. I found it a gripping, tight horror/thriller with good characters and no pointless padding. I couldn't stop listening, which is rare for me. Highly recommended for fans of modern horror. Plus the narration was first class.
