Well, what can I say? This is the first book by Barbara Copperthwaite I have read and I can say it was incredible.
The storyline is flawless, told from a Mothers point of view, a Mother who is desperate yet unfailing in her quest to uncover the truth behind a horrific attack on her teenage daughter Beth.
As the chillingly realistic tale unfolds the reader is only left to gasp out loud.
The ending, oh my days, the ending, as terrifying as it is, made me want to punch the air in triumph.
I absolutely LOVED this book and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Another stunning and chilling tale by the talented Angie Marsons. Well crafted and terrifying, the author is in the top ten of writers, fans of the crime and mystery genre should read without a doubt.
Whilst the subject matter is twisted a small degree of sadness for the protagonist remains. Without such an upbringing, would this person have become so monsterous? A question the reader will ask themselves once the terrifyingly creepy finale is long over.
Also available on audible, narrated by the ever brilliant Jan Cramer. Perfect for these dark Winter evenings.
Thank you Angie, for once again submerging your readers into a dark and gripping tale with remarkable twists.

Every chapter leads seamlessly to an ending that makes the reader want to shout out loud, with joy and anger. Kim Stone is a formidable yet sympathetic Detective, leaving no stone unturned in her quest for justice. Her character is rapidly becoming one that the reader wants to know more about and I certainly hope that Angie manages to keep these books coming our way. Very highly recommended indeed. Once again, Jan Cramer reads perfectly, taking tones for each character that brings them to life. I absolutely loved listening to this.

This incredible thriller debut by Robert Bryndza is often jaw droppingly astounding and intensely clever, leading to a twisted climax that the reader will never see coming. The strong female lead is as lovable as she is unlikeable, creating a new DCI that ranks alongside Peter Jame's 'Roy Grace'. The type of thriller that one picks up and after the first chapter, finds that it's almost impossible to put down. The audible companion is cleverly and effortlessly narrated by the talented Jan Cramer, who manages to further enhance the intricate and intriguing characters with her brilliant and wonderful tone. This book is a definite must read to add to your thrilling collection. I for one, couldn't recommend this powerful and clever story highly enough.
