The paleo diet is a very healthy diet. Clinical trials have shown that the paleo diet is the optimum diet that can lower the risk of cardiovascular disease, blood pressure, markers of inflammation, help with weight loss, reduce acne and promote optimum health and athletic performance. Even though grains and dairy seem healthful, Cordain says our "genome has not really adapted to these foods, which can cause inflammation at the cellular level and promote disease.” Eating like our ancestors 80 percent of the time offers health benefits. He suggests trying the diet for two weeks to see if you feel better on the plan.

I am very satisfied with this book. This is really an excellent book. Before reading this one i thought it was an average book but after reading this now i can say that its an extraordinary one. Overall this book is very well written by the author. I really like this book and would recommend anyone who needs such type of information.

I was in decent condition but as I began to listen pages were falling out. As far as the book it was insightful but disliked it was only geared toward women- only using pronouns from a women's point of view. I know the author is female but there are women narcissists out there as well

I read this book. It makes a lot of sense. I stopped smoking last year, by focusing on not smoking one hour and one day at a time. I will become healthier and lose weight with the common sense strategies in this book; one hour and one day at a time. Wish me well, because that’s what I want to be. WELL

So I'm going to try the simple methods in this book and see how it goes. I've read tons of diet books, but this one stands out because it makes weight loss a lifelong goal that is achievable and it tackles the reasons behind why we eat poorly instead of just having us change.

This book is splendid. I inclined such huge numbers of successful things from this book. It is a very true an insightful read. Clear and concise ways to achieve the desired outcome and comes with exercises and other resources to help you study.
