The narrator was perfect . With a typical narrator who reads stories it would have been hard going. He spoke with just the right tones to show how many of our politicians are just self serving.

One of the genre's favorite pair return in a classic fantasy short for both Riyria veterans and first-time readers. Several years have past since the war-weary mercenary Hadrian and cynical ex-assassin Royce joined forces to start their thieves-for-hire organization better known as Riyria. Things have gone well enough for the team as they do "jobs" for various nobles throughout Elan. Usually, that means stealing something, but when a young heiress asks them to steal her…well, that's a first for the pair. All is not as it seems, but Royce is determined to get the bottom of what's actually going on. After all, he has his professional integrity at stake.

A great story which covers many years in the lives of a town and it's main characters.
The time in which the story is told is true to that day telling how 'hard' life was.
I enjoyed the reader very much. His voice is easy on the ear as well as descriptive.

The story and the reading of it is really good.
However the foul language and taking Jesus's name as nothing more than an exclamation mark ..
.....you get the idea.
At the end of the story I was left thinking, how long will it be before the story will no longer be a story but really happening? Great Story!!
