Didn't finish this. The prose was overly complex and repetitive with nothing happening. A shame.

Like being bashed over the head with politics!

Persevered because I wanted to know what happened, but felt very much like young adult fiction. Being bashed over the head with sociology and political concepts in a very worthy way did make me cringe at times. Was left feeling satisfied with the series though.

Starts off excellently and maintains a good pace that kept me hooked - sadly the last few chapters became very self indulgent and repetitive.

The narration in this book was terrible - the accents were embarrassingly bad and led to me returning the book. The story was also very. ery dull.

What a wonderful book. I learned a lot from Queenie and Sister Mary Oncanou and will miss them both.
