Carrie is a successful TV producer in a high pressure job. She’s talented, liked, and well-respected. She and her husband, Adrian, an award-winning screenwriter, decided years before that they didn’t want children. But now, just as they’re both at the pinnacle of their careers, she has discovered she is pregnant and is shocked to find that she wants to keep the baby. But in a competitive industry where time off is seen as a sign of weakness, Carrie looks on the prospect of maternity leave with trepidation. Enter Emma, the temp, who is everything she could wish for as her cover: smart, willing and charming.

Some might say it’s predictable, however as a lover of this genre I must say that it threw me quite a bit and was not expecting the twist! Although this did come along about 3/4 of the way into the book, things just got better and more thrilling. So I wouldn’t say it spoiled the story at all. I normally have about 3 books on the go at the same time- this one I became enthralled in and raced ahead to the finish so definitely worth listening to!

Does Jessica know what the truth is? A stunning psychological debut with a shocking twist. When she arrives at work to discover every trace of the company she was working for has disappeared, Jessica's life spirals into free fall. Her romance with Michael, a celebrated criminologist, is already in trouble. He is sick of the unpredictable behaviour caused by her ADHD and is convinced she is a fantasist. When his flat is burgled and precious belongings that remind him of his dead wife are stolen, he blames her.

Just either read or listen to this book! Personally narration was absolutely amazing. Maybe some might judge it as far fetched, but surely that's the beauty of fiction/escapism. Brilliant concept with twists and turns, and good conclusion at the end.

When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it's there. There's no explanation, no website - just a grainy image and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it's just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that.Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make?

Excellent book. Audio narrator is brilliant. Listened to books read by Rachel Atkins before. Really enjoy her style. The storyline was unique, and had me guessing right to the end. Just a normal down to earth family, whose life is turned upside down, from one single advertisement spotted randomly. The police story ran alongside the families turmoil, and was interesting, informative and very believable. Great author. Tried to listen to at night to help me sleep. Sometimes this works, but not with this novel. Had to keep listening, and couldn't wait to pick up where I had left off, the next day! Don't miss out on this one, you won't regret it.
