So, this is me. Lily Allen. I am a woman. I am a mother. I was a wife. I drink. I have taken drugs. I have loved and been let down. I am a success and a failure. I am a songwriter. I am a singer. I am all these things and more. When women share their stories, loudly and clearly and honestly, things begin to change - for the better. This is my story.

I enjoyed the book. At times it's dark and almost a downer, but it's honest and real and the sincerity is what touches you. Lily basically messed up several times as you hear / read, but it's her understanding and what she's learn and gained from all these cock ups that's fascinating to listen to.

A memoir from national treasure Brian Blessed. There is no one quite like Brian Blessed. He's also a brilliant storyteller who will - and you must brace yourself - simply leap out of the story at you. Ready? Then listen to Absolute Pandemonium and you'll be taken on a riotous journey from his childhood, growing up the son of a miner in Goldthorpe, to finding fame in Z-Cars.

I am now a massive fan of Brian's. I knew Brian's face from the tellie, but I have just turned 40 and I know a lot of hid audiance is more mature shall we say. This look has truly lit up my life however, and I adore Brian's honesty and totally brilliant sense of humour.
The stories flow well, and when Brian speaks it is indeed as if he's speaking to you as a friend and telling you his life, views and experiences. All fascinating, and really makes you burst with enthusiasm.
I just adore Brian's charismatic personality, this really jumps out!
I hope Brian makes it to Lincoln area for a book signing I would be there in a shot.

I liked the fact Steve was so honest and direct, no BS here it is as it is and Steve tells us straight, men will get away with what you allow them to.
Steve describes a lady men will want to keep, be proud of, and how as a lady you can set down, honestly and with self confidence your own boundaries and what you expect.
The best parts tell you how to know if a man really wants to be committed to you, how he should/ will behave if this is the case, and important questions to ASK!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, which is different to his famous Act like a Lady, Think like a Man.
