A juicy, powerful listen featuring twin sisters who have drifted apart and the shocking family secrets that bind them.... Robin and Sarah weren't the closest of twins. They weren't even that similar. But they loved each other dearly. Until, in the cruellest of domestic twists, they were taken from one another. Now in her early 30s, Robin lives alone. Agoraphobic and suffering from panic attacks, she spends her days pacing the rooms of her house. The rest of the time she watches - watches the street, the houses, the neighbours.

For fans of Gillian Flynn, Laura Lippman, and Paula Hawkins comes Holly Seddon's arresting fiction debut: an engrossing thriller full of page-turning twists and turns, richly imagined characters, and gripping psychological suspense. Some secrets never die. They're just locked away. Alex Dale is lost. Destructive habits have cost her a marriage and a journalism career. All she has left is her routine: a morning run until her body aches, then a few hours of forgettable work before the past grabs hold and drags her down.

The Tattooist of Auschwitz is based on the true story of Lale and Gita Sokolov, two Slovakian Jews who survived Auschwitz and eventually made their home in Australia. In that terrible place, Lale was given the job of tattooing the prisoners marked for survival - literally scratching numbers into his fellow victims' arms in indelible ink to create what would become one of the most potent symbols of the Holocaust.

In Episode 6, Miranda finally sits her driving test. But on the morning of the test, she is completely thrown by a surprising and unexpected houseguest, wearing one of her flatmate Dan's T-shirts and making herself more than at home. Celebrating her test (we're not saying she passes by the way), more might be exposed than even Miranda is comfortable with. Dreams are espoused and plans are hatched to escape the city in this first season finale.

I really enjoyed the overall concept and story. refreshing to have a distopia without zombies!

I soon downloaded all books and was pleased to be able to have 2 at a time.

the tale is a little dragged out at times but it maintained my interest.

the reader had a great voice BUT he has no talent for accents and they are AWFUL, particularly the Welsh one!!! VERY cringe making! had to ignore accents but they did impact on enjoyment although created a game with my hubby, i.e. guess the accent!

overall would recommend it
