This is a super valuable audio book and should really be part of the national curriculum. If you've ignored taking your personal finances seriously then Andy's book is a great place to start. Switch off the TV, radio and Netflix and have the whole family listen in to what is very measured and well thought through financial strategy for building long term wealth. Great piece of work Andy.

There are three types of people in the world. Those who don't know what to do, those who know what do but refuse to do it, and those who know what to do and actually take action. Once you've listened to this short and sweet audio book, you'll be equipped with the knowledge to fall into category 3. All you have to do is take action. Thank you Mel for sharing your valuable insights. I now need to get busy putting them into action

Matthew's previous work Bounce is hands down one of my favourite books so I came to Black Box Thinking with very high expectations. BBT is of similar high quality and does not disappoint. The storytelling narrative is highly engaging and keeps you hooked. The book is a little slow to start but picks up speed in the middle and at the end. I found myself reaching for my notebook and pencil to jot down insights and nuggets to reuse later like Narrative Fallacy, Cognitive Dissonance, Randomised Controlled Trial and Marginal Gains. Definitely a book for your Dunbar 150 book shelf.

Key message here is doing what everyone else is doing will almost certainly guarantee poor results. Run lots of experiments as you never really know which experiment will be the home run.
