I have just finished the last book about the Deverill's.
Santa Montefiore is a fantastic story teller.
There are twists and turns along the way, but when you come to the end of the book there will be no loose ends.
I found the whole trilogy utterly absorbing - I couldn't get through the books quick enough! The only downside is what to read next! ;-)

A good follow up to 'Me Before You'.
There is also room for a continuation of this story.....

Full of twists - love never runs smoothly.....

Really enjoyed curling up and listening to this story on a cold damp winters day. It really does feel like a guilty pleasure listening to a Jojo Moyes book.

You feel the pain that Lou feels at loosing Will. It is good to work through it and get to the other side. Loved the twists in the the book that you didn't expect, new characters, without giving anything away.

Fab, really enjoyed.......
Please bring out another 'Lou book!' *****

I really enjoyed this book. The problem I had was the amount of sexual scenes as the book progressed. I don't believe that it required as many of these moments.

The Great Smog. London. A dense, choking fog engulfs the city and beneath it, history is re-written…1952. Twelve years have passed since Churchill lost to the appeasers and Britain surrendered to Nazi Germany after Dunkirk. As the long German war against Russia rages on in the east, the British people find themselves under dark authoritarian rule: the press, radio and television are controlled; the streets patrolled by violent auxiliary police and British Jews face ever greater constraints.

You could say I felt at a cross roads in my life. I found the book moving, enjoyable. Yes there were times it made feel sad - but at the same time I found it very uplifting and comforting.

I will listen to it again. A bit like The Shack, where you felt you needed to go over it again to check you hadn't missed any parts of the story.

The Sheedy sisters had lived in Stone House for as long as anyone could remember. Set high on the cliffs on the west coast of Ireland, overlooking the windswept Atlantic ocean, it was falling into disrepair - until one woman, with a past she needed to forget, breathed new life into the place. Now a hotel, with a big, warm kitchen and log fires, it provides a welcome few can resist. Winnie is generally able to make the best of things until she finds herself on the holiday from hell.

It's been a while since I have 'read' a book. I have just finished 'My Dear I Want to Tell You' and found it really good, surprisingly so. At times it was sad, funny and thought provoking. Bitter sweet war tale. It has left me feeling satisfied . Worth a listen.
