Would you listen to Mr Mercedes again? Why?

An exciting read. A great story and I just didn't want it to end. King can really get the reader to get inside a character's head. I loved and was rooting for the main character, Bill Hodges, and I was utterly mesmerised by the bad guy. Both very believable.
This is a fantastic book. I have come late to Stephen King - but more like this please, SK!

Will Patton is now one of my favourite narrators on the back of this - along with Jeff Harding.

I have just listened to this a second time. I was hooked again. I fell in love with the character (and voice) of Dr McGee and I thought the interplay between him and Susan Thorton was excellent. There is a great twist at the end.

An enjoyable enough read but it didn't have the usual Jeffrey Deaver flair and flavour...almost as if someone else had written it. I did find myself getting bored in places.
