Interesting stories as usual but the narrator seemed to get lost with the accents so I sometimes lost track of who was speaking

Very amusing and inventive. A great change from the usual fare and I would welcome more from the author

Not like any previous books I have read by this author but gripping and thought provoking none the less.

Good story, awful narration. Such a shame after the previous reader. Sorry Mr Chafers but not good enough.

Where does The Martian rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I bought it because I could not see how such a story could run for so long. Much to my surprise I liked it from first to last. Not my usual genre, but give it a go.

Came across this by accident, and enjoyed. Well read by GA, although the Viet voices sounded decidedly scottish. Laos is a place that I had not thought off, except as a footnote to the US / Vietnam situation, and I found the novel thought provoking in regard to the idealogical transfer of power to a communist state. I will try more by this author.

Gripped for the first two thirds or so but then I found the conclusion a little too surreal. Quite an entertaining idea, and very well read.
