I was determined to finish this book as I try to complete what I start. The child Ruby was described as a naughty spoilt child and the parents let her behave how she wanted blaming themselves. Yep. Letting kids use lipstick on walls isn’t at all an issue ! No boundaries needed folks!!!!!!!!??????? So it spoiled the story completely and all I was left with was, I’d never get that time back I’d used to listen to it on audible. Sorry. Not for me

Wow. What a fantastically put together performance. The back story has been just waiting to be told, and it was every bit as tense as I thought it would be. More of DCI Ryan and the team please. The casting was brilliant. Throughly enjoyed it.

I really like not liking Kim. She’s great. Would like to see her riding her bike abit more. And maybe one person actually getting close to her. But as ever, gripping story. Thank you. Can’t wait for the next one.

I enjoy the audible version of this book very much. I’ve given 4 stars because I found I had to go back a few times as I’d clearly missed something in the flow of unfolding events. There was an awful lot of different situations crammed into this story, with a great twist at the end. ( I’d guessed the twist). Looking forward to listening to more as DI Fawley appears a very interesting character.
