Pop star Leontyne Blake might sing about love, but she stopped believing in it a long time ago. What women want is her image, not the real her. When her father has a stroke, she flees the spotlight and returns to her tiny Missouri hometown. In her childhood home, she meets small-town nurse Holly Drummond, who isn't impressed by Leo's fame at all. That isn't the only thing that makes Holly different from other women. She's also asexual. For her, dating is a minefield of expectations that she has decided to avoid.

I read this book 7 times before the audiobook was release, so I was worried that I would be disappointed by the narration. However it was honestly a perfect fit in my opinion. This was the first of Angela Dawe’s performances I’ve heard. But definitely not the last. I’ve since purchased a few more books narrated by her.

I love that this story includes a character who is on the Ace (Asexual) spectrum. It’s the first book I’ve read with an Asexual character, and I loved learning more about this sexual orientation.

As soon as I started listening to this audiobook I knew that I wouldn’t be able to stop. I absolutely loved everything about this audiobook, the talent of the narrator matched the writers talent really well.

*From my review of the eBook*.
I loved everything about this book... it's well written, has two romantic leads I could relate to and instantly liked, and it has a story that intrigued me and kept me turning the pages. It sucked me in from the beginning and just wouldn't let go. It gave me a lot to think about as well as giving me a romantic story that I enjoyed.

Not only does this book cover sexual orientation/identity, but it also covers things that a lot of people can relate to...family issues, job issues, insecurities and more.

I honestly would recommend this book to EVERYONE. It's a sweet romance that will open your mind to new things... no matter your sexual orientation and how you identify yourself.

I loved this audiobook and will definitely listen to it again. As I've come to expect from Jae (the author), this book is a well written story that pulls you in from start to finish. I have found Jae to be a solid author who doesn't disappoint. When I start her books I have come to know and trust that I will enjoy them.

The main characters (Annie & Drew) in this book are very likeable and easy to relate to. I enjoyed the story very much, and actually really liked that it was a slow burn romance for these two.

The narrator did a good job of capturing these characters and the story.

This is a great story to read at anytime of the year, but i especially love reading it near christmas.

I asolutely love the story and have read it multiple times. I love Holly and Catherine who go from tentative strangers to new friends to lovers. Plus the story includes a great best friend, an adorable kid & a very cute and funny dog.

Nicola Victoria Vincent did a great job with the narration. She is quickly becoming my favourite narrator for the books set in the UK.

I'll definitely be listening to this every christmas...and probably a few times throughout the year, too.

What would you do if an irresistibly desirable but utterly untouchable woman whispered to you, "If you want me, you'll have to come and get me?'" That's exactly the situation that Elliott Foster, CEO of Foster MacKenzie, finds herself in when she meets the alluring Lauren Collier, Chief Legal Counsel of a Fortune 500 company. Elliott never has a shortage of attractive women willing to share her bed, and she doesn't care if they are attracted to her or just her money.

Absolutely love this story. It is exactly what you would expect from one of Radclyffe's books...an interesting and well written story, that has characters that you can't help but love. She also has a talent for keeping you hooked until the very last page, then wanting to know more, because you feel like you know these characters and you have come to care for them.

This Narrator (Natalie Duke) has very quickly become one of my favourites over the last few months. For me she gets everything right...the characters all have distinctive voices so you can tell them apart without the narrative. she is dead on with her tones and inflections. For me she is right up there with Abby Craden. Like Abby, she seems to know the characters, and gives them the voices that match their personality and the narrative written about them. For me this is important, as I hate when the narrator gives a really high and girly voice to a character, when the narrative says they have a deep & husky voice.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading or listening to lesfic.

Mallory Spencer is in charge. As the face of Soho Savvy, the advertising firm she owns with her three best friends, it's important that she's poised, polished, and put together. However, as she watches her friends couple up and settle down, she wonders about her own happily ever after. One thing's for sure. It's not going to happen with that blue-eyed bartender from Showplace. It's irritatingly clear they couldn't be more wrong for each other...or have more chemistry.

Would you listen to Ready or Not again? Why?

Yes!!! I have already listened to this book about 5 times. I LOVE the characters and the relationships they all have with each other.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Out of the two main characters, I like Mallory best.

Out of all of the characters in this book (& the series) I love, love, love Brooklyn. There's just something about her. I love her humor and how she relates to her 3 best friends.
I fell in love with Brooklyn in the first book of the series (KISS THE GIRL) where she was one of the main characters.

What about Felicity Munroe’s performance did you like?

This Narrator did an amazing job and I really enjoyed listening to her read this book.

She managed to give each of the characters their own voice, making it easy to tell the characters apart.

She helped to bring the characters to life and brought out each of the characters personality.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I don't want to give spoilers, so the best I can explain it is...
Where Mallory stands by and supports Hope. Also the development of Brooklyn & Jessica's relationship and Mallory's speak about the group's friendship.

Any additional comments?

I absolutely LOVE this book. It is a story about friendship, family and love. After reading (&/or listening to) this book, I feel like I know each of the characters.

This is a book (series) I can easily listen to & read, over & over again. I have already read the book 7 times and listened t the audio version 5 times.

I highly recommend these books. They are definitely worth the money/credits.
I hope you enjoy this audiobook.

The order of the books in this series...
Book 1 - Kiss the Girl (Brooklyn & Jessica).
Book 2 - Just Three Words (Samantha & Hunter).
Book 3 - Ready or Not (Mallory & Hope).

If you could sum up Branding Her: Bundle 1, Episodes 1-6 in three words, what would they be?

Entertaining, Sweet & Hot

What did you like best about this story?

The Characters, especially Kaylee. I love their personalities and they're a really sweet couple. They are also Hot, Hot, Hot!
I liked that it was easy to listen to, it was enjoyable and it pulled me into the story.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Visiting family & Christmas Day!. There are many scenes that I could point out but I don't want to give spoilers.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The two main characters relationships with Kaylee's Son, who is so sweet. (Again, trying not to leave spoilers).

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed each of the episodes and listening to how the characters each grew and how their relationship developed.

I liked the fact that it was in six parts (episodes), as it made it perfect for listening to before bed. I listen to one episode each night this week, well apart from tonight as I got hooked and just had to finish it. So I ended up listening to the last 2 episodes, which is why I'm still awake at 12.45a.m.

You can easily break off at the end of each episode, as even though the story carries on, each episode is a new part of the story.

I thought the narrator did a good job with this story, I would listen to her again if she narrated another book in this genre.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys lesbian fiction. The book is definitely worth a credit. I hope you enjoy this audiobook!!

*Warning* - there are some quite explicit sex scenes in this book. I though I would make a note for those of you who don't enjoy reading/listening to sex scenes. They are not over the top and don't take over the story, so I would still recommend you give it a try.
