Narration is very good, original story is captivating and outstanding. this is a shortened edition which for Tolkien fans, will leave a hollowness. New listeners or teaders to Tolkien will not feel the pure joy that is Tolkien.

sad to see some characters exit the brand, and bizzarely would have liked more of them, but another blistering crime thriller on unique and ocially relevant topics.

Sorry, I have liked works by the author before, but found his lead characters in this work distractingly gung-ho and more akin to the expectations of an Enid Blyton adventure for young adults. the narrator was quite good, though.

Brilliantly written. Brilliantly performed. gripping throughout and completely immersive . As a reader you would be deprived if you did not entwine yourself in the world of Shiela O`Flannagan.

I had the book in print (still do) but I couldn't get into it. The narrative style on Audible made it much more engaging and I really enjoyed it.

I struggled with the characterisation, and the dialogue between the experts in their field seemed out of step with their profession and professional profile.
I have enjoyed other work by Chris Carter, but I found this work was not for me, so I have stopped at Ch25.
