Gripping story and characters that I really liked and cared about. The dogfights were tense and very exciting. Story threads and story arcs came together very well. I couldn't stop listening and I'm planning on a relisten within long. Can't recommend this gem enough, it's up there with Eisenhorn as one of Abnetts best Black Library works!

a little stilted sometimes (people talking to themselves to explain to the reader what's happening), but some really cool moments as well.

The Crimsom Fist is the only depiction of the Battle of Phall, and The Prince of Crows is the closest you'll get to a depiction of the Thramas Crusade. And they are both good, good enough alone to give this a listen. And then you get a few short stories on top of that.

All stories were great, had some unique way of telling the story and really giving you an impression of the hard life in the hive cities of Necromunda.

I especially likes The Deserter, but tastes may vary :)

Story and characters are as good as you can expect from a Dan Abnett novel. Good narrator, as well. A really good start into the 31st millenium.
