I wish the whole series of Stephen Puleston books were available on audio books!!! I would buy them all.

One of those books you don’t want to end. Hard to find something else to read that compares.

Been struggling lately to find a book that absorbs me - but this one sure did. Gripping story line with twists and turns all the way has led to little sleep last night as I just had to finish it. Every bit as good as the two previous Jackman and Evans books. I love the hint of of Welsh brought by Evans too.

Loved this book from beginning to end. It provided everything I like in a good book - adventure, intrigue, romance, mystery, fantasy, history, heroism and all the while some valuable lessons for life. Courage, love and respect among them.

Great, tense thriller and kept me guessing to the end. But does the superintendent really need to be so aggressive to his officers. His blood pressure must be through the roof!

Everything I hoped for in a thriller.

I like listening to audio books as I craft, this book made my hands fly through craftwork as the plot unfolded and I edged closer and closer to the edge of my seat. No good as a book for bedtime - too gripping a storyline and I listened to it well into my precious sleep time. I wish Kim had a little romance in her life tho.

Too complex, too long, too many characters to keep track of and far too sinister and gruesome. I had to read to the end however but I didn't enjoy this book at all

Very good storyline and I couldn't read it fast enough. Surprises in every chapter and I loved it ...............apart from the ending! I felt high and dry after reading the epilogue and quite disappointed. I guess I just like neat happy endings.
