Jayne Frost is a lot of things. Winter elf, Jack Frost's daughter, Santa Claus' niece, heir to the Winter Throne, and now...private investigator. Sort of. Christmas is over, the new year has begun, and life is thankfully slowing down for Jayne, giving her more time to chill with her new guy. That is until Myra Grimshaw’s death reveals the elderly fae had a strange obsession with Jayne’s royal family and an unauthorized collection of exclusive winter elf objects.

I really enjoyed this book! We got to learn a little more about the north pole and Jaynes father and uncle finally visited! Love the surprise at the end even if it is kind of a cliffhanger. Really can't wait for the next Jayne Frost book!

Left scarred and unable to talk after a terrible accident, the reclusive Theo is a contractor whose plans to renovate the building Megan bought are eerily similar to her own.

I adored every second of this book. It's the kind of book that touches your heart and stays with you. I cried with Megan and with Theo for what they'd been through and were going through in the book. They were truly meant to be, theirs was a love that truly would never die! As Theo/Cass said, one lifetime was not enough.

The disappearing hitchhiker is one of the hoariest urban legends, and no one knows that better than Gabriel Walsh, a lawyer who grew up on folklore and myth. When Patrick - author of books on the supernatural - brings him the case of a hitchhiking woman in white who vanished on a country road after accepting a ride from a businessman, Gabriel knows the Cainsville elder is just trying to wheedle into his good graces. But Gabriel is a man in need of a mystery, one that will get him back into someone else's good graces.

Loved this novella, it was great to get a little more of Liv & Gabriel as well as Patrick trying to get to know his son (a fact Gabriel is still unaware of in this novella) but going about it all wrong. It was interesting getting more childhood memories of Gabriel's as well, he really is one of my favourite characters!

Really loved this short Perry/Garrett story and it has me really looking forward to Forged By Desire to get their story! This one was set before the events in My Lady Quicksilver as Garratt's craving virus seemed to be normal and there was no mention of Rosa. It's interesting to learn that Perry has been crushing on Garratt for so long and I can't wait to see how they work things out!

Loved this book, although parts were bittersweet, like with Cooper getting bad news about his mum and he and Jayne breaking up (even if he said it was just temporary) because I still kind of like him and Jayne as a couple. Wasn't as sad about Greyson and Jayne though because as much as I love Greyson (and I do!) I never really saw him and Jayne as a couple, I think it shows in this book giving how different his and Coopers reasons for leaving town and missing the Black & Orange ball were.
I really like Sin although I'm reserving judgement for a book or too as he kind of seems a little too good to be true! So far though he does actually seem well matched to Jayne and she seems to have fallen quite hard for him already! I feel bad for Cooper though, if he and Jayne aren't going to be together as a couple, I hope he finds his perfect match as well, Greyson too!
Wasn't too surprised about Lark though, although she put on a good show for Jayne.
Can't wait for the next book!
