Im happy to find a new author that I enjoyed 'reading'. The story line was action packed with lots of twists and turns and a HEA. Best of all is finding a good narrator that enhanced the storyline
Together this is one book i will probably listen to again.

This format was a first for me and I loved it. I did struggle initially and think this was because i wasn't used to it but soon settled into the background noises that enhanced the storyline. As to the story - I listened continuously almost - couldn't bear not to keep listening cos i needed to know what would happen next. I did guess the baddie and the end but it didn't detract from my enjoyment. All actors/narrators were very good. Music and sound effects just improved the whole experience. Will definitely try another one.

I couldnt connect with the characters. I think they were limited in depth and there was certainly no chemistry between the main characters. I dont think the narration helped - i felt he was reading the words with little real emotion put into it. The story line was good with a mystery although i did work it out a few chapters before it was revealed.

For me the narration completely put me off. Then the story line. I’m not sure if it’s because the narration is so bad but by chapter 5 I couldn’t stand the, what I felt, condescension of the group that wanted to help the homeless woman. Why does the narrator shout all the main male characters dialogue....see what I mean? I can’t even remember his name and I’ve only just switched it off.

Had to stop listening it was that bad. Now Im irritated cos i want to read the story but cant listen to it...if you know what i mean - i feel robbed!
