As always great story I must say that Roy Dotrices narration was below the previous books IMHO particularly marking now is Arya and Brienne which go against the format of accents and make them sound nothing like their character and standing

Rupert Farley is a wonder as always in his mastery of the story and of cause Richard, well, is Richard. My only slight criticism was during "The Battle of Salamanca", and this would only be if you had any knowledge, was the initial development on the French left. But hey it is Fiction, isn't it?

Glorious until the end. A description that gives a feeling of a Battle that cost between 4500 and 6000 lives plus the horrifically maimed. Rupert's narration I never tire of.

Insubordinate and dangerous, especially to the fairer sex, Richard Sharpe rumbles on to the pleasure of some and the loathing of others. Blissful narration as always
