Would you consider the audio edition of The Shout to be better than the print version?

I cannot state having not read the story for myself, though I thoroughly enjoyed the tale

What did you like best about this story?

An excellent thriller taken in a new and refreshing direction. The high quality research I associate with Stephen Leather

Which character – as performed by Bea Holland – was your favourite?

I loved the Grouch, I possibly see something of myself in him

What would have made Present Danger better?

Having previously read and enjoyed Stella Rimmington's novels I wished to obtain them by talking boots. The narrator has ruined the experience. There are far better women narrators

Good paced tale with twists and turns that you would expect

How could the performance have been better?

A different narrator

As stated its a quality novel only spoiled by the narrator

Thoroughly enjoyable, well researched and well read

What does Frank Muller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Pitches the narration excellently

I enjoyed the whole book, it would not be possible to pick anything that beats the rest

What was one of the most memorable moments of Captain Corelli's Mandolin?

When Capt Corelli 1st arrived at the Doctors home and how the Doctor behaved towards him. Very amusing

I haven't previously listened to Michael Maloney. He was very good, better than many

When the Wehrmacht executed the Alpini Division

Thoroughly interesting with many twists and turns

Cal MacGill, an intelligent, determined and essentially honest man who isn't afraid to bend or break the rules to achieve the things he believes are important

No, but I will again

Yes and moreover I didn't want it to end

The Sheriff - a thoroughly honest and decent man, trying his best for the society he serves and appalled by man's brutality to his fellow man

Very much so, I almost achieved it too

It was a pleasant book to listen to though nothing dynamic. The story never quite got going before it was over

I have read all Terence Strong's previous work. This wasn't the best, though it was a reasonable standard and had a very hard act to follow
