This was the first time I had heard Nigel Patterson reading an audible book. I thought he did an excellent job of the various characters voices which added to a really good story.

I thought the story telling was excellent and as usual the John Grisham novel held the attention. The final part was fairly predictable but I continued listening in case I was wrong. I am always left wondering how accurate the legal side of the story is correct.

Nothing like the film but much more interesting and enjoyable. The scenes are so well set they become very much part of the story and the characters become alive in them. I really look forward to the rest of the series having now a much greater understanding of Hanningfield.

I guess that's what Reacher sounds like.

As JC fan could not fault the story or the reader. Very enjoyable, not too heavy but compulsive listening.

I really enjoyed this book. I think John Grisham is a first class author and the narrator perfect for the story. I could believe him as the main character and the voices of the other characters was not overdone. Highly recommended.i

A great story enhanced by the reader. I really enjoyed the whole experience. Stephen King is always very readable and Will Patton,s voice seems the perfect medium for this story.

Holds the attention.

Perhaps try's too much with the tough beaten down voice of a much maligned character to the point where you begin to loose credibility in the guy and start to think he probably deserves what he gets. Overly dramatic with the voice in places.

A really pleasing short story well narrated. Shades of the Monkeys Paw perhaps but no worse for that. I enjoyed it.

Good in parts, overall pleasing but not as exciting as first thought. Is there a second part? Worth buying? Not sure.
