I have listened to a number of K. A. Merikan novels and this is absolutely my favourite so far. In fact as the title states I literally listened to the whole story twice in succession.

Many years ago I read and enjoyed the chronicles of Thomas Covenant. I always described it as "Lord of the Rings" for Adults. (I did however skip the parts before Thomas entered into the Land in subsequent readings). The Land was so vividly realised, it was somewhere I wished I could be summoned to.

I was very excited to see the series appearing in audio format.

However I cannot enjoy or even complete listening to the first book. Other reviewers praise Scott Bricks narration. Personally I find the whole timbre of the narration is "depressing" and strange. As a sufferer of depression I would warn others BEFORE listening to or reading this for the first time that it can act as a trigger.

The Narrator makes too many mispronunciations, so many that it constantly irritates and breaks immersion for me personally. I also find it hard to differentiate between characters as they all sounds more or less the same.

As to the story itself. The behaviour of the main character is extremely irritating. The response by the surrounding characters is unbelievably tolerant or forgiving. It seems that now I am older, wiser and have enjoyed a wider scope of reading
, I cannot enjoy what used to be a favourite at all.

I read this story MANY years ago, as well as owning the DVD version, and it has always remained a firm favourite, it has only been pushed to 2nd place by 11.22.63.

The Stand is a long and entertaining story that has aged well and is still relevant today. I am glad this was produced in unabridged format.

The audible production is excellent, Grover Gardner has a very pleasant voice to listen to and clearly differentiated between the large cast of characters in the book.

This will be listened to many times over.

Whether in a solo narration or in full cast dramatisation, Penelope Keith is perfect as Agatha Raisin.

All the stories are very much an enjoyable, entertaining and light hearted listening experience.

Having read much of the series in book form or on Kindle, I was delighted to find they are available on Audible.

I will eventually collect them all.

Pure entertainment!

I have read a great many of the Agatha Raisin series and when I saw this collection I had to buy it. Superb character narration by the talented Penelope Keith. Penelope is absolutely perfect as Agatha. In fact fantastic narration by the whole cast.

We REALLY need the rest of the series produced to the same standard with Penelope at the Helm!

Such a shame they miscast the TV version. (what idiot cast a scottish actress to play a brummy?). They should reboot, as is the fashion these days, and cast Penelope Keith.

This collection entertained me all through my Sunday off. 9hrs 4minutes of pure light hearted enjoyment.

Will be listening to these many times over.

... listening to a Jeanne St James novel.

Very enjoyable M/M romance read by my 2nd favourite narrator Teddy Hamilton. Both his and Aarons voices suited the characters very well and were pleasing to listen to.
A nice balance of engaging story and spicy sex scenes nicely integrated.

I hope to see some more M/M romances from this author.

I am totally addicted to A.E. Via's Nothing Special series on Audible.

So I was very happy to see Promises: Bounty Hunters appear on Audible!

I have not previously read the stories in book/kindle format so these stories are all new to me and I LOVE them. Promises Part 1's story line was not as quite as enjoyable as Part 2. The story did not grip me as they usually do. It was great to find out more about Duke, but I was not overly keen on Vaughan, would have liked Duke and Quick to get together.

As always the top quality narration by Aiden Snow (that voice!) really brings these characters to life.

Enjoyed everything about this audio book.

Great story. Loved the characters, although Sean's angst sometimes made me groan out loud....and not in a good way lol.

Some of the hottest m/m scenes I have listened to that were much grittier and convincing than a lot I have heard. These made me groan out loud too but in a good way :0). The scenes dovetailed with the story brilliantly and were balanced rather than being the focal point as in some stories.

Dorian Bane - my first audio by this narrator, excellent voice with clearly recognisable character voices that were spot on and never dropped. Rykers gravelly baritone sends shivers down my spine each time.

Already have the rest of the Havoc MC series in my basket ready to purchase!

I wish Audible had the Men of Honor series in their catalogue!

A very enjoyable listen!

I hmmm'd and haaa'd about buying this audio book but after listening to the sample many times I decided to give in and buy it. My first story by K C Wells and my first narration by John Solo. I enjoyed both immensely and wish listed a few more by both the aforementioned Writer and Narrater on the strength of this.

One of those stories I will enjoy repeat listening to.
