I reported the problem to customer service who seemed determined that it was my fault in the way I downloaded it. This was daft and eventually they referred it to the techys after I started writing in capital letters
Now fine

I have been buying Audible books almost since it started, own over 1000 and this is the first time I have wanted to return one. Unfortunately I can't as I bought it 33 days ago. It is offensive, puerile and totally unfunny. I love Round the Horne with its filth, Carry on films and innuendo but the non stop stupid comments and guffaws from the Kenneth Connor character about breasts are beyond believe and the plot was pathetic.
I know times change and not all humour has stood the test of time but this was appalling.. Unfortunately it must continue to infect my library.
Bring on something good and wholesome. Where are Julian and Sandy?
Just in case you are in any doubt I didn't like it. Why can't I give it no stars?

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Organisation

What was most disappointing about Charles Dickens’s story?

Might be very good if you can work out what you are listening to

What didn’t you like about the narrators’s performance?

Nothing

Do you think The Charles Dickens BBC Radio Drama Collection needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Bit difficult

Any additional comments?

No clues what each programme is. Running order not as given in product details and no clues as to where one play ends and the next begins
To add to the confusion each of the 7 parts begins with the opening hour of Pickwick Papers
Great fun
Once you work it out it will be fantastic value for a credit although I'm not sure if the total running time includes the 7 hours of the same bit of Pickwick!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes but see below

What other book might you compare This Sceptred Isle: Collection 1 to, and why?

Collection 2

Have you listened to any of Anna Massey and Paul Eddington ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Not relevant

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Only that I think Paul Eddington died or was seriously ill before he could finish the whole thing.

Any additional comments?

1 Why can't I review without answering above daft questions?
2 I downloaded to play on my MP3 and was a bit surprised to find the 1688 Glorious Revolution occurring before the Restoration in 1660. I think someone put the individual episodes together in the wrong order. I'll play Part 2 on random - it might make more sense.
Still the best way of being able to sound as if you know what you are talking about when answering quiz questions

What a disgrace

Because 1 person who hasn't got the courage to say who they are doesn't like it, a programme loved and revered by thousands, nay millions is saddled with 1 star. Let's redress it a bit. This wonderful, smutty, clever, anarchic and witty programme is better than everything done today
