The author introduces you to a few words at a time by creating short scenarios. He then revisits these words in later scenarios.
I would recommend this for beginners.
It does end rather abruptly though.

It seemed quite long, but when you have as many accomplishments and challenges as this guy did, then I guess, the length automatically follows.
Absolutely fascinating.

This book recounts some individual Congolese people's experiences. Some are quite insightful into the true cost of the products we use daily.
It does inspire hope though and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to make a positive difference.

I've never been interested in history, but this book kept me intrigued right the way through with its constant enlightening historical facts. The author enabled a novice like me to follow and understand the complicated history of various countries. In all honesty, I'm blown away. I would highly recommend it to anyone who knows little, as well as anyone who thinks they know something about socio-economic history. Fantastic!

The book deals mostly with American issues of power, corruption and bullying of other nations, but touches on other countries' bad behaviour too. I was captivated the whole way through.
It is based on talks from quite a few years ago (80's and 90's I think), but is still well worth listening to if you're interested in how the world really works. highly recommended

No new ideas really. Reference to 1 or two other books that might be worth investigating though.
The last 7 minutes are a bit of a punt for the author's website. Did I really just pay you for your own advert.

Great narration and easy to understand if you've never been in the field of finance. Definitely worth a listen if you're interested in what really happens in the world of massive money that's 'legally' untaxed or laundered for people who are obviously ludicrously rich in the first place.
Greed and corruption are rife in our 'democratic' world.
