Great 2nd book in the WARP series. It races along with lots of twists and turns, same characters with some good additions. Max does a great job in narrating and voices. Fab ending I could never have guessed. I need to get book 3 now !!

It’s really worth continuing to listen, even tho the lead characters voice is a bit annoying. I got used to it and have listened almost non stop. The storyline really gets going after a few structural chapters, and the fights are gripping. It is also funny, quirky, and has elements of games like Runescape running through it. I can’t wait for the next volume to come out. Thank you Pirate Abe xx

Wow. Defo an adult only book. Funny, gripping, fast paced. Narrator a bit hard going at first, but persevere and it’ll all make sense. I loved it and listened to it all in a day, while doing the housework and cooking Sunday lunch. Pity there isn’t a sequel .........

A truly touching and real book by Sir Elton John. It covers every aspect of his life and is bare and descriptive. So much information and interesting facts. Well narrated and easy to listen to. I enjoyed it and would recommend to all.

What an amazing fantasy by Rod Duncan and beautifully narrated by Gemma Whelan. It was great to have a female lead in this story with many twists and turns, incorporating past and present facts but woven together in an extraordinary way. I loved each book but also love the way they link together. A must read for all fantasy and historical story lovers. So exciting and what a finale. Superb!!!

I loved this story, the narrative is super and the story a joy. I felt that I was also in Italy with the lovely descriptions of the birdsong and rolling green hills. It was fun, witty and romantic. Perfect for lifting the spirits.

If you start listening to this remarkable book, keep going. Do not give up, even if Owen Meany’s voice drives you mad. You get used to it, just turn the volume down a bit. The story soon out weighs the voice. It’s a very long book and does jump about in time, but told from the 1st person perspective is really how we all often tell a tale. I found it uplifting that a character so annoying was so special. Well worth persevering with. Incredible!!

I found this book beautifully written with such clarity of characters and depth of detail. I love Christopher Lanes accents and his American drawl. It’s almost as if I could visually see Billy Todd and the other people throughout the story, they were so well described. The story flows well with twists and turns, keeping me ‘on the edge of my seat’, overwhelmed, but also with laughter at occasional funny family and relationship scenarios.
