I really like Dr khan on TV and was looking forward to listening to this book apart from a couple of interesting cases this book is terrible he really thinks way to much of himself he's the hero and saviour of every chapter it may have been made slightly better if it had been read by someone else as he doesn't do a good job of it at all don't waste your credit on this

Don’t bother

If you want to listen to a version of the truth written by saint Megan and poor mistreated Harry this is the book for you because it most definitely was written by them Glossing over any wrong doing on their part they are quick to blame everyone else for their problems especially HRH the Duchess of Cambridge and HRH Prince Charles HRH Prince William gets his share of mud thrown at him as does the Queen at least they had the sense not to throw any at HRH Prince Philip I’m guessing they knew that he would not be shy in displaying his disappointment in them had they taken a swipe at him Poorly written with very obvious attempts to make her look like a saint and him to have been treated so badly it’s not worth a credit there is very little new material in it just old stories with a slant to try to make them look like the victims

If you only ever listen to one book about AIDS make sure it’s this one Listening to the different points of view gave this book a depth that you don’t often find It’s beautifully narrated and keeps you coming back for more The very real emotions around gay people and AIDS in the 1980’s are front and foremost in this book making it a must read .

It would be easy to dismiss this book as a disgruntled relative who didn’t get her birth right kicking out some of it is just that but intentional or not it opens your eyes to the lies scams and down right greed of the trump family and the intentional illegal acts of Donald Trump and family for their own gain it’s truly shocking if it’s all true what the Trumps have got away with Worth listening to simply because Donald Trump is in control of the USA and the damage he could unleash is horrifying

Don’t bother with this book you won’t learn anything you don’t already know even if like me you don’t really know much about Versace Poorly researched badly written and nothing you couldn’t learn from a brief google search The narrator is very annoying her voice really grates on your nerves Very disappointing

The most talented person in this book is the Narrator who did a good job of reading this book I really really wanted to understand this troubled fashion designer’s life and early death what I found was a spoiled child who got were he did by one influential woman’s belief in him and because he didn’t have to pay his dues in the same way most of us have to he became a badly behaved addict who thought that the world revolved around him and didn’t care one hoot for any of the people around him helping him if you weren’t useful anymore you didn’t count so he dropped you He didn’t and doesn’t deserve the fame his name brought him He wasn’t that talented Sarah Burton is probably the best thing about the McQeen label and she should stop hiding behind his name and strike out on her own If you want the truth about McQueen read this book if you want to believe the fairytale that is told about McQueen don’t read it

You need to either love this book or really really want to read it because if you don’t you won’t get passed the really bad narrator he has such a flat board voice This is a brilliant book I love the depth of the story the building of the up of the people and events around them and how it links together there is so much that the film’s leave out Brilliant book keep going it’s worth getting over the bad narrator and listening to the whole story
