Complex story, unattractive characters, gratuitous bad language. Very disappointing. Philip Glenister did his best with it- even the endless confusing credits.

The first two chapters of scene-setting were quite confusing and well worth listening to again at the end of the story. All became clear! The story is complex, but gradually the characters take shape and the narrative carries one along. We definitely want to learn more and will wait impatiently until 2020 for the sequel.
