It is the year 871, when England was Angle-Land. Of seven Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, five have fallen to the invading Vikings. No trait is more valued than loyalty, and no possession more precious than one's steel. Across this war-torn landscape travels 15-year-old Ceridwen, now thrust into the lives of the conquerors.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Circle of Ceridwen to be better than the print version?

Yes I thought the characters came alive for me

What did you like best about this story?

Ceridwen and her spirit - also the fact that it was set in the 9th century was so different, I was totally taken on a journey

Have you listened to any of Nano Nagle’s other performances? How does this one compare?

The best yet

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

A world like no other!

Any additional comments?

Looking forward to listening/reading the series

Tom Fulwood, the future Earl of Standish, discovers at the age of 15 that marriage can destroy a man, namely his father. His mother prefers entertaining men in her bedroom, while her husband sits downstairs, unable or unwilling to respond to his wife's inappropriate behavior. From that day on Tom vows that no woman will hurt him the way his mother hurt his father. For the next 17 years, Tom works hard to become one of the most notorious rakes London society has ever seen, successfully keeping all the women of his acquaintance at a distance.
