Didn't see that ending coming!

Good series of stories, very well read but with some unanswered questions but I suppose it leaves it open if Rick ever gets in trouble and Des gets the call.

Not the best of Ric's adventures

Unfortunately some of the story is a bit far fetching and the term most luck than judgement is wearing a bit thin!
Fingers crossed the next chapter is more believable

Good in site to the SAS on the challenges of modern warfair and the historic struggle with those at the top of armed forces who were happy to send ill equipped soldiers to battle with 99% chance of fatalities.
Thankfully the moden soldier is more protected

Always been a fan of Elton and when I heard about this book had to get it, was slightly disappointed that Elton himself wasn't reading it BUT be under no illusion it was read beautifully by the only guy who could pull it off....the guy who played him on the big screen!

The book is so honest and open I really think that he held NOTHING back .

There will be no one who can hold a candle to this guys lifes ups and downs, yes he has had the luxury of all that money but it very rarely brought him happiness.

I will happily listen to this book again AND AGAIN.

I didn't realize this was the musical version until after I had downloaded it and was very sceptical about it and thinking this is going to be rubbish!
OMG.....how wrong was I....VERY WRONG!
Had me hooked within 10mins.....3 days done!
brilliantly read and with the added music it kept the suspense going on and on!
will be DEFINITELY recommending this 😁👍
