Earth is 4.5 billion years old. In just a fraction of that time, one species among countless others has conquered it. Us. We are the most advanced and most destructive animals ever to have lived. What makes us brilliant? What makes us deadly? What makes us sapiens? In this bold and provocative audiobook, Yuval Noah Harari explores who we are, how we got here, and where we're going.

I bought this for my children a couple of years ago and they still listen to it regularly. Having never listened to it all the way through myself, I can't comment on the story, but my 11 year old son and 5 year old daughter find it very funny and really enjoy listening to it time and time again. From what I have listened to, Andy Crane's narration is fantastic.

On July 1-3, 2011, Marianne Williamson taught a workshop on A Course in Miracles in Los Angeles, California. The topic of the weekend was how miracles - shifts in thinking from fear to love - make all the difference in how we live and how we feel. Learning to think differently - to stand psychologically and emotionally on a different ground of being - is the spiritual journey from anxiety to inner peace.

I forgave - genuinely forgave - one person in my life whilst listening to this audiobook, and it has released me from so much angst. This is the first time I've heard about A Course in Miracles or Marianne Williamson and I will definitely be seeking out more from both.
