The key to living a happier, healthier life is inside us. Our gut is almost as important to us as our brain or our heart, yet we know very little about how it works. In Gut, Giulia Enders shows that rather than the utilitarian and - let's be honest - somewhat embarrassing body part we imagine it to be, it is one of the most complex, important, and even miraculous parts of our anatomy.

Ï read 'Blink'& I was a bit confused as to why it got such rave reviews... I gave it 3/5 & decided to try another by the same author. Again, despite the rave reviews, I just found it OK. I am not even sure why, for some reason it just didn't grip me & once again confused by the reviews I read vs the book I read.

Here are the rules. Method: you can't use a gun. You can't use explosives. You can't use poison. It has to be up close and personal. You don't have to worry about leaving evidence; that will be taken care of. Victim: no one suicidal. No one over the age of 65. No one with a terminal illness. Choose your method. Choose your victim.

I really struggled with this audio book. I hated the dramatisation and found the story silly and incongruent. Part way through I had to check to remind myself why I purchased the book; I looked at the reviews & was really shocked with the 4-5 stars some people gave. I would not recommend this book at all. Apologies, it is one of the worse books I have downloaded in the almost 10yrs I have been an audible member. P.S. I would have put zero stars, however, I do not think that is an option.
