Brilliantly narrated by Martin Jarvis, thoroughly enjoyable. Easy listening nonsense for a rainy afternoon

Would you try another book written by Georgette Heyer or narrated by Cornelius Garrett?

I will always love georgette Heyers writing, I was a bit disappointed I. The narration of this story as it made Ellinor sound a bit stroppy which I don't find when I read the book myself.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It has to be Nick because of the liveliness and enjoyment he shows of the adventure he's thrust into!

What didn’t you like about Cornelius Garrett’s performance?

The female voices were a little. Irritating

Did The Reluctant Widow inspire you to do anything?

To read my georgette heyer books again!
