not a bad deal with 2 books in one. it was ok fairly decent story but a bit hard to follow at times
some of the characters were a bit annoying and this was made worse by the accents. the narration was generally good but for that. other characters i just didnt get behind at all and found it was easy to zone out from the story.
will give book 3 a go and hope it picks up from there

Brilliant way to wrap up this series, a great ending with plenty of twists along the way to keep us in suspense
my only bad point which inst even worth dropping the score is i would have liked to see more on the Alice story line, a lot of untapped potential there!
KCB has never produced a bad title yet that i have encountered, you should definitely add this to you series
Narration by Sean was once again first class! hope to hear more from both these guys in the future!

have never yet been disappointed with a book from KCB have even taken a chance on a few of his short stories and they are just fantastic
slow burner and takes a while to get into but is well worth it,
as usual with this authors books just when you think you have it puzzled out an unexpected twist hits you and turns is all around!
great start to a series hope books 2 and 3 arr just as good
Brilliant narration makes it even more enjoyable and immersive!

this book while short and just not built up in the same style as the main series has no problem fitting into the great series that is these books

a brilliant story that sneaks in well with the early ZA and still has the military descriptiveness that we love plus doesnt scrimp on the action!!

looking forward to lots more side stories

Got this one from the team at Atheon Books so huge thanks to them!

this book really surprised me and was a really refreshing take on the genre!
i enjoyed the story and just when i thought i was going to hear more of the same it took on a whole new twist
Some parts were very out there for me but all in all it was a great story and worth the listen

great narration also made it very easy to follow the jumping time line and kept me engaged.

my only draw back was the characters were maybe over developed or just too many of them with huge baggage
cant really put my finger on it. it felt like they all had points that made you hate or get annoyed by each of them.

that said i will definetly pick up book 2!

enjoyable tale and a good solid performance and production from cast and crew

Story was a little strange in that it felt rushed towards the end and seemed to skip over certain parts in a rush.
it also felt like it was trying to get the listener engaged in the least amount of time. another couple of hours would have mad a huge difference in the overall story i think

characters were ok and seemed to stick the the type found in the games but again a bit more development.

i am a fan of these type of productions and if done right they can be excellent and well worth the listen
this one may not be the best imo but is certainly a good tale if your a fan of AC.

this one is a struggle started out ok but fell apart fairly quickly. story is lack luster and for an all powerful near human moral AI he was out witted fairly easily by a not so quick witted CEO.
in the end it just got a bit stupid and was boring, didn't really care much in the end and wish i skipped it to be honest. at 18 hours long its a bug book but could have been cut shorter
characters are not very interesting and after been built up at the start they don't really seem to matter in the end and are all the same, it seems to be a very very startof the universe prequel type of book and has no bearing on the series, so much so that it could be its own stand alone series

Audible production is also terrible sound jumps to loud then soft and audio jumps. its just all round not good
Narrator is great though

a lot better than books 1 and 2

great story with this book! black hawk done type stuff and really brings Rex out in the best way!
loved the baulder character and thought is was great twist and enhanced that leg of the story.

Ray Porter did a great job even though he gets a bit of bassing taking over from RC BRay only issue i have is the audio skips and i kept having to rewind. that needs sorted out!

keep them coming like this please!
