First of the fact you get 4 books for 1 credit makes this a steal!
The Story its self was an interesting change of pace from the usual post/ZA stories

The murder mystery too it gave it an extra twist as well as having to deal with the main event of the EMP.
I did enjoy the story surrounding the inhabitants of EsTees Park and the mix of native American folklore was pretty cool.
throw in the Nazis and the other lunatic fringe groups in Colorado and its a fun story. would have liked to see a little more involvement from north Koreans but maybe that a future story? would hope so!
I have to admit the it was a little staining for me when the story switched to the Montgomery story line. I don't think I enjoyed her character really which may be why, found her to be whinging all the time and just got a little annoying to be honest and I got a little lost when her bodyguard got a side line from that. didn't really think he had that much of a role to play in things

that said still a really great series, hope there is more to follow would love to see it close out a few things!

as for the narration: once I got into it was no trouble. he is a little different in the beginning but Pinchot delivered the story really well and is definitely a great narrator, just give him the chance!

so well written and RC Bray is awesome ( this is probably his best work IMO)

Gus is an amazing character definitely one of my favourites in any series. this is what the walking dead was missing!

This entire series is amazing! This is what the walking dead should have been. probably the best zombie series out there.

for me this is the best RC Bray narrated title I've come across so far.
I honestly laugh out load at this book and have to rewind just hear it again

everything form serial killers to roving marauders, rats and the legendary Gus
It can get a little hard to stay focused in book 2 but I honestly did love Gus' decent into madness
Scott is also a great character and carries book 3 very well
already on number 4 with the prequel done , would love to see a book 5!

But that isn’t going to happen. Because Gus’s co-worker Benny has found a one-night job at the local Mollymart East, a job that has to be done by morning. If Gus and his paint crew can complete the work by then, it could mean huge business with a respected, established grocery store chain.

Bill tells the stories behind the invention of the Reynold's Portable X-Ray Kit and the world's first CT brain scanner, with the help of Katie Dabin, who is the Curator of Medicine at the Science Museum. Father of cyberpunk William Gibson’s original script for Alien III, written in 1987 as a sequel to Aliens, never made it to our screens, although it went on to achieve cult status among fans as the third instalment that might have been after being leaked online. This terrifying, cinematic multicast dramatisation - directed by the multi-award-winning Dirk Maggs - is the chance to experience William Gibson’s untold story and its terrifying, claustrophobic and dark encounters between humans and aliens, as a completely immersive audio experience.

I enjoyed this instalment to the series, I will be honest the series for me has been growing really stale and repetitive and the last few outings have been a bit of a struggle, I really enjoyed mavericks and deathtrap but zero hour and renegades almost killed it for me

Homefront was a good enjoyable tale and was really well written! it tied in a few loose ends and set up book 8 nicely
the Audio Drama yes had a few production issues but it didn't take away from the story which I think was a lot better than some of the recent books! I think the main problem is that ex force fans just don't like change!!
the Cast did a solid job although I think some of the scenes were just cringey ( particularity with the STARs team) rather than poorly voiced, everyone seems to have their own ideas for how people sound so I guess that's were most of the complaints are coming from on that side but for the most part I enjoyed it
I have listened to productions like this before so was used to the background music and noise, it wasn't really an issue for me at all expect for Steel's figure snapping LOL !! ( you should check out the Alien audio dramas Out of the shadows, River of Pain , Sea of Sorrows and Alien III )
Craig did a good job and I hope he decides to put a few more of these out in the future!!

Love this series so far and RC Bray out of all his books X is by far the character best suited to him!

this book was a bit more slower paced than Deliverance but the build up here is strong and we get to see more glimpses of what happened 250 years ago! and a twist at the end I that I honestly did not see coming!!

Sets the stage for what I hope will be an epic struggle in book 5 for the metal Islands
