As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then, on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man. When a shuttle crashes into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating and waiting for suitable prey. Hoop and his associates uncover a nest of Xenomorphs, and hell takes on a new meaning. Quickly they discover that their only hope lies with the unlikeliest of saviors.... Ellen Ripley, the last human survivor of the salvage ship Nostromo.

If you are looking for something scary this is NOT your thing. Sure there are Aliens running arounf the story but they were not scary at all. The mood was trying to capture the original movie but failed, the right ambiance was not there. The actors are fine but I miss Ian Holm as Ash, he is the only true Ash.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes. The book gives a good insight into how political campaings are covered by the media. The story is a bit hard to follow, because Tur, the author makes these odd time jumps from election night to something that took place on day 200 of the campaing and straitght back to election night. That took me out of the story from time to time.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

When Tur is re-living the journalistic moments she does a good job, but when she goes and reads the more personal parts of the book then she kinda forgets that she is making an audiobook and just riffs. I get it it`s her own book, but I would say to her that despite the fact that it`s your own text try to read it with a little bit more control and calm.

Any additional comments?

I did not nead all that information about her FRENCH boyfriend.

The classic World War II thriller from the acclaimed master of action and suspense. One winter night, seven men and a woman are parachuted onto a mountainside in wartime Germany. Their objective: an apparently inaccessible castle, headquarters of the Gestapo. Their mission: to rescue a crashed American general before the Nazi interrogators can force him to reveal secret D-day plans.

What did you like most about Star Wars?

The parts they added to the story. They give some nice background to the story. The actors are good. Hamill and Daniels return to their roles, but all the other main characters are played by new actors. They are good not great but good.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The battle at the end. It is followed by radio trafic which gives it a nice twist. Some scenes are potrayed from the viewpoint of Luke. This is a radio deama, but it does not affect the thrills.

Any additional comments?

The performance of Brock Peters as Darth Vader was not to my liking. It was a bit too shalow.

Hercule Poirot recalled an earlier outburst by a fellow passenger: "I'd like to put my dear little pistol against her head and just press the trigger."
