A proprietary trading firm consists of a group of professionals who trade the capital of the firm. Their income and livelihood is generated solely from their ability to take profits consistently out of the markets. The world of prop trading is mentally and emotionally challenging, but offers substantial rewards to the select few who can master this craft called trading.

Some traders distinguish themselves from the herd. These supertraders make millions of dollars - sometimes in hours - and consistently outperform their peers. As he did in his acclaimed national best seller, Market Wizards, Jack Schwager interviews a host of these supertraders, spectacular winners whose success occurs across a spectrum of financial markets. These traders use different methods, but they all share an edge. How do they do it? What separates them from the others? What can they teach the average trader or investor?

First published in 1923, Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is the fictionalized biography of Jesse Livermore, one of the greatest speculators who ever lived. Now, almost 90 years later, it remains the most widely read, highly recommended investment book ever written. Generations of investors have found that it has more to teach them about themselves and other investors than years of experience in the market. They have also discovered that its trading advice and keen analyses of market price movements rings true.

A very enjoyable story which I found fascinating as it takes place in a world where trading was done before the internet. The story was a little short given that I only get 1 audible credit a month and finished this in 1 week, yet I am glad I'm choose it as it is one if the all time greats and I would recommend it to anyone with an interest in old trading stories.
