This makes me sad. I had heard about the premise of the story and loved the idea, but it seemed to me that there were no peaks and valleys to the journey. In a rich environment it seems like not much happened, and anything that did felt down played.

The narrator has a beautiful voice, but more often than not it was putting me to sleep rather than engaging me in the story.

I'm hoping the TV show is more captivating because the post-apocalyptic nature of the world is really interesting.

It's like a sexy Black Books for your ears

I didn't know what to expect when I first downloaded this, but after listening to all episodes I now, medically, need more! Very funny, great writing, with enough incite into a sex-workers world without going over the top… and that 4th wall break!

Give Miranda a 2nd season! Then some more!

I LOVED this book! Trevor Noah's story is amazing and his narration is perfect. His story is equal parts hilarious and heartbreaking. Do yourself a favour and get this book.
