After four years working in a New York brothel to pay off a debt to the mob, Nina is nearly paid up and ready to go home. She just needs to see one more client, a recluse who always pays a half-million in cash for a night with the brothel's best girls, but this last trick soon becomes a battle for Nina's soul. Meanwhile, the brothel's sadistic madam has been secretly hoarding money so she can move up in her family's organization, and she's depending on that windfall to tip the scales in her favor, but her driver Ramón has other ideas.

I really like this narrator, and purchased this book on the back of other titles of his I have listened to. This title is also a great listen, full of intrigue, and a really gripping plot that keeps you hooked to the very end..

This is a charmingly bonkers tale that is quite unlike anything else I have ever read or listened to! Ably narrated by MR Keen, whose dry take on the outlandish material allows the listener to choose how they perceive the tale. On one level, a serious, riveting, engaging narrative... on the other, a complete hoot of larger-than-life horror-wereromance.

A very interesting addition to this genre, a ripping tale with a different twist. Very well narrated in a clear, engaging tone, leaving the listener to concentrate on the story itself.

This is a nice, succinct reference work, reviewing the history of thought - and current thinking - surrounding both reincarnation, and past lives. As a hypnotherapist, I found the sections dealing with past lives particularly interesting and relevant, and the excellent narrator's emphasis and tone shows he had a good grasp of the sometimes complex ideas propounded by the author. Well done both!
