Lazy science and analysis

Overall
2 out of 5 stars

Selective use and interpretation of data to prove an overly simplistic hypothesis.
Causes and factors of achievement and success be it for individuals, groups or countries are far more complex (and probably more interesting).
The history of countries and groups which is influenced by the environment, wars, resources, availability of food, climate, disruptive technology innovation, chance etc, which then go on to form the cultural and genetic makeup of individuals and groups.
How this then relates to outcomes for individuals has multilayered and interacting factors. Not to mention the statistical certainty that some groups will achieve more than others and this in itself has a causal effect on future outcomes.
