Cold case detective and newlywed, Ronan O’Mara, is sitting on top of the world. When he returns to work after his honeymoon, he finds more waiting for him than a stack of dusty cold-case files. Hidden in the mail on Ronan’s desk is a letter from Tank Hutchins, aka The Riverside Ripper. Convicted of murdering a woman three years ago, Tank claims he is innocent and asks Ronan and Tennyson for their help in proving who really committed the crime: his twin brother, Tim.

I love the Cold Case Psychic seres by Pandora Pine and Michael Pauley does an amazing job of bringing the characters and their world to life. This sixth book finds Cold Case Detective Ronan O'Mara returning to work after an absence of several months owing to various circumstances and his new husband Tennyson Grimm-O'Mara getting into his readings at West Side Magick still reeling from his mother's attendance at their Day of the Dead wedding.
This one has quite a twist with twins, one of whom is currently in prison for murder based on DNA alone...lots of family secrets...it's quite a reveal when the truth comes out as to who really done it!
I love how Ten and Ronan talk to each other about things instead of letting them fester, and I love how their circle of friends and family work together and welcome Jude into their midst. The Thanksgiving dinner was my favourite part of this story and there's an interesting turkey competition with 4 differently cooked birds...highly recommended for all PP/CCP fans and all lovers of paranormal thrillers with lots on man on man loving thrown in for good measure.

This spin-off series for the Team ALPHA books by Susi and Crista is a wonderful addition to this shifter world of theirs, and narrated by the very talented John Solo, the story and characters take on a life of their own.
I love how we meet Boy/Pup in the prologue and then we get the rest of the story from Dean or Sam's perspective. The couple, who are introduced in the Team ALPHA book 7 - Decked (Christmas novella), are just starting their new life together as mates with a pup on the way since Dean is already pregnant as they move into their new house.
I love the new team dynamics and the quirky bunch of characters: another pair of trouble-making twins, a bear shifter former police detective, a veteran pilot, a quirky techie...Sam is the team leader and Dean will be the Counsellor.
Highly recommended for a fun, fast listen over an afternoon or any other part of your day.

In this third book of the Rent-A-Dom series, Nick J. Russo does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life with unique voices. I love how the existing couple Asher and Dakota, a gentle Beta and a headstrong Omega, go the extra mile to try to save their relationship that has started to fail on a sexual and personal interrelationship level. Enter Guy, an Alpha and Dom, who has been booked to show Asher how to take charge more in the bedroom since Dakota is fed up of being the one who makes the decisions at home as well as at work in his demanding sales job at the quarry where he and Asher both work.
Guy tries to stick to his rules, and I love how he soon figures out that the couple are missing a vital component...a bridge!
They all do their best to keep everything strictly professional, even as both Asher and Dakota fight their attraction to the sexy Alpha Dom. Will Guy break all his rules and become what they all need? When Dakota is in a terrible accident, Asher turns to Guy for strength and comfort. I love how an unexpected joy helps them all come together. Highly recommended for all fans of Susi Hawke everywhere.

This seventh Hollydale Omega story is yet another pairing of mates with a supernatural match-maker in the form of the Easter Bunny, leaving beautiful hand-painted eggs around for our Alpha and Omega to find and consider in their second chance at love and family.
Take one You-Tuber "Omega Manny Diary" vlogger Luke who has become The Single Omega Manny Daddy since we last saw him, a beautiful little girl who is his entire world now, and the return of Alpha Grayson "Grazer", best friend of Ian (married to Cecil). Sparks fly and a formerly commitment-phobic Alpha suddenly finds he has a chance to have everything he thought he never wanted. The two certainly have their ups and downs, and Grazer struggles to become the father and partner that he should have been all along had different choices been made after their first encounter.
Drew Bacca does a wonderful job as always in bringing the characters to life with their unique voices, as the cast grows further with this new addition to the gang. I recommend this for all MPreg fans and Susi Hawke fans everywhere.

This is the third book in the Team A.L.P.H.A. series by Susi Hawke & Crista Crown and is narrated by Colin Darcy who does a very good job of giving Boomer, David, the twins, Boss Boy, Jonah, Levi, BossMan, Papa P, Mama C and all the other supporting character their own voices to help bring the story to life.
The twins' worst nightmare comes true when their omega "baby" brother David disappears just before his college graduation when on a celebratory camping trip with his friends. Team ALPHA jumps right into action and tracks David's last known movements in order to figure out what has befallen him. I find the antics of the team highly hilarious and often start giggling to let out a random snort the listening to the tale. The twins try to do their worst in this story, especially once Boomer meets David and finds his fated mate! I feel sorry for Boomer having to put up with his two rough and crude team mates as brothers-in-law, but David turns into quite a fierce protector! I always look forward to these audio releases, and this latest instalment did not disappoint. This is the second book in the wonderful Rainbow Key series and while in theory these all could standalone, you'll find a richer appreciation of these quirky and complex characters if you read/listen in order. Darcy Stark truly gives each character their own unique voice which adds a deeper connection to this band of misfits. He's a narrator that I've come to appreciate in that the story comes to life from the moment he starts, bringing me into Victoria Sue's interesting world of Rainbow Key resort and refuge for LGBT teens/young adults. I found Noah to be an interesting addition to this merry band when he arrives for his honeymoon solo after his fiancé leaves him standing at the alter...after licking his wounds for a day or two and a disastrous meet-cute with Charlie on arrival, he finds himself intrigued by the shy, complex young man who has been left in charge while the resort owners Joshua and Daniel are away having a belated honeymoon and tending to other business. Charlie, sweet-sweet Charlie, crushes hard on Noah but struggles with his touch-aversion issues and innate shyness. He slowly comes round to accepting Noah in his personal space...maybe he's not as heart-broken as he seems? It's a heart-warming journey as the two learn to adjust some assumptions and lean on each other in more ways than one. Especially when Charlie's family surfaces and there's a funeral/will reading involved. Noah needs to stay strong or the foundation of their fledgling relationship might crumble. Can two guys with some serious trust issues find their HEA? I highly recommend that you read/listen along for yourself and find out. A must for all true romantics!

This is the third book in Victoria Sue's wonderful, quirky Rainbow Key series and while each book technically could stand-alone, I think one finds a deeper appreciation for the character's struggles by reading/listening along in order. Darcy Stark does another great job with providing the characters with their own unique voices and making the world of Rainbow Key come in the reader's imagination.
In this story, the focus is on recluse Ben, a former model, turned author who hides his scarred face after a fire in Hawaii ended his modelling career, and he also fled from his then lover/boyfriend photographer, Zachary Jones.
The two meet accidentally on the beach at Rainbow Key by chance when Zach is sent there by his doctor brother Seth, who meddles/tries to control Zach after his eyesight starts to fail when he's out in Africa on a Charity assignment and far away from immediate medical help. The sight in one eye is almost negligible, but there is still a chance that the vision in his other eye might still be saved if he follows his opthamologist's instructions and gets some rest and relaxation at the newly refurbished resort. Joshua has the doctors and Seth's instruction about what Zach can or can't do/eat/drink, etc.
Zach pursues Ben and the two reconcile until Seth causes waves...will Ben and Zach see their way though to their HEA? True beauty is more than skin deep! I highly recommend that you read/listen along and find out for yourself. A must for all the truly romantic-at-heart everywhere and fans of Victoria Sue.

This latest book in the Hollydale Omegas is hilarious, and Drew Bacca does an excellent job as always of bringing the characters to life and giving them unique voices.
In this tale, the supernatural character is a Leprechaun called Shamy (Seamus, actually), but that's what Braden calls him, and our two romantic leads are best friends and roommates - an alpha gamer YouTuber called Braden, and an Omega bartender called Greg who tends bar at the Big O in Hollydale. I do enjoy this particular trope of friends becoming lovers, but these two sure don't make it easy for each other, though it's fun listening to them figure it out. Shamy does his best/worst in trying to encourage/discourage the two, and it sure makes for some very funny moments and scenarios. I highly recommend that you read/listen for yourself if you're a fan of MPreg, Susi Hawke and/or Friends-to-Lovers.

Michael Pauley is one of my favourite narrators and he does an excellent job of giving the characters their own individual voices and bringing the story to life.
These characters are complex and intriguing with well-developed back stories that motivate them in their current relationship. I love that the omegas are free to become what they want to be and Owen has chosen to become a counsellor, helping other omegas work through issues from their past so that they can have a happier future.
Alpha billionnaire Crawford Daniels is also interesting as his father was an omega and his mother was the alpha in their relationship so Crawford has learned the value of omega rights from his dad.
It was an interesting journey as Crawford entices and empowers Owen all while calling to his omega nature in the basest of ways. He shows his respect in offering Owen the choice to engage in their relationship, letting him decide if he's okay with the way things are progressing.
I highly recommend that you read/listen along for yourself if you are a fan of Omegas and MPreg.

He was hoping what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas when he comes face to face with Kent, the chief confectioner at the Sweet Ballz shop managed by Tom and owned by Cecil, Pierre's new friends.
An unexpected pregnancy adds fuel to the fire as Pierre's new Salty Stix pastry shop goes to war with the former favourite sweet treat shop in town. A hilarious hippy called Amor starts popping up around town as do some golden arrows.
