Jenna Skye and her blood harem are off to boot camp in Denver. If she can survive the three long months at the bat cave (the Blood Authority Training Center), she'll become an official Blood Vice agent. But not everyone is thrilled about the duke allowing a baby vampling to train with the big fangs, and the undead have some pretty rotten ideas when it comes to hazing. The training program also opens Jenna's eyes to House Lilith politics, and she's soon swept away into the dark current of warring vampire families and an empire on the verge of collapse.

Lucy Bryant loves bright and pretty colors, girly clothes, and music from pretty much any era before the '90s. Oh...and she's a vampire. A vampire who also happens to be the only tattoo artist that can tattoo another vampire and make it stay. She's lived a peaceful life as a blood sucking creature of the night so far, but all of it changes with a single tattoo. Vampires across the city are changing, turning into the monsters humans always feared they would become.

Before Nell Ingram met skinwalker Jane Yellowrock, she had no one to rely on, finding strength only in her arcane connection to the dark woods around her. But now she has friends in the newly formed PsyLED team to keep her grounded - even if being part of the agency responsible for policing paranormals comes with dangers of its own.

Lauren Russell often wondered why her father had been so adamant about teaching her skills that most other fathers wouldn't even consider teaching their daughters. Ever since she was little, she had been taught how to live and survive outdoors, and how to use firearms to protect herself and those around her. Some of the training had been a bit extreme. Or had it been? Many of her questions were answered the day the world as she knew it ended.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. Thank you An amazing story set mostly around A character named Lauren and her family and friends living after an EMP. The characters are believable and very likable keeping the reader rooting for their well being and their safety! The book jumps from past to present day telling you the story of how Lauren got to be the way she is. Recommend to anyone who enjoys dystopian/Post-Apocalyptic books. The narration is done very well by Kevin Pierce.I have found a new author to add to list of favourite authors list.
