But after spending a handful of nights with smart, sassy, and beautiful Jana Garner, the woman who challenges everything he does and says, Hunter wants more. As a dancer, boxer, actress, and waitress, Jana is tough, organized, and as dedicated as she is committed. She has to be to maintain her crazy schedule. But when it comes to men, Jana's had a string of bad relationships, and there's only one thing she'll commit to - not committing.

Hunter works hard all day on his stunning, in demand sculptures and enjoys nothing more than relaxing in the evening in the company of a beautiful woman. Jenna is equally as hardworking, either during her boxing training or teaching her dance classes. Due to a horrible experience with her last boyfriend, Jenna has committed herself to no commitments.

Jenna and Hunter meet as their families become intertwined. As they meet more frequently, the passion becomes more intense and they give into the feelings. Only the more Hunter asks for more, Jenna starts to run, afraid history may repeat itself and also it could ruin their friendship. Jenna challenges everything Hunter says and does and it only makes him want her more. Jenna needs to face her decisions of the past, to enable her to get closer to a happier future.

As much as I love the story of Hunter and Jenna, I did find the female narration a little hard to listen too at times. I couldn't take well to the accent, but I did enjoy having two narrators for this story.

We've met Blue on and off for a while now at Seaside and it is great to see him getting his own story.

Since meeting Lizzie, Blue Ryder has not stopped thinking about her. He's been friends and tried to get close over time, but to no avail. Blue gets turned down by Lizzie regularly and is at a loss as to why. He takes on the job of renovating her kitchen in the hope it will bring them closer together. He has had his heart broken in the past, and he hopes that Lizzie wouldn't do that to him.

Lizzie runs a successful flower shop, but to help pay for her younger sisters college education, Lizzie has had to come up with other means of making money. Her idea, The Naked Baker, is a huge success and with her business skills, Lizzie ensures that her sister has all the help she needs for college. However, Lizzie has paid a price. She has decided to put her social life on hold as she doesn't think she can let people into her life until she can stop the webcast.

The status quo is rocked by a powerful kiss one night, and everything changes, bubbles burst and secrets are revealed. Will love be enough to put it all back together?

This is yet again written so sweetly, that you cannot help but fall in love yourself. If you want a place to escape to, I cannot recommend Seaside enough.

Melissa Moran narrates this story beautifully, and makes it so easy to listen too. I love listening to my favourite authors, as it means I can listen while I'm supposed to be working or they make car journeys so much more fun! If you haven't tried an audio book, give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Jake and Addy's story starts at Duke and Gabriella's wedding, which also gives us the opportunity to catch up with the Ryders and their families.

Jake and Addy meet again at the wedding of Jakes brother Duke, and they struggle to resit the fire between them. They have both been players in the past, but like his brothers and sister Jake falls hard and fast for Addy, however she is a strong, independent lady and does not want a relationship like her mother and grandmother, so has build some rather large walls around her heart.
After their connection at the wedding, Jake is keen to see more of Addy but she is set for a 10 day solo trip up the mountain to find herself, only she discovers she has a rather large piece missing.

As usual, Melissa has written a beautiful story, and B J Harrison narrates wonderfully, and it has you completely involved from the first page to the last. I was eagerly waiting for this book having had a glimpse of them in Dukes book, and listening to the story was just as wonderful as reading it. It also meant I could enjoy it again, while on the daily commute :) Now to listen to Gage and Sally's story.

Nights at Seaside by Addison Cole is the "sweet edition" of New York Times best-selling author Melissa Foster's steamy romance novel Seaside Nights. The stories and characters remain the same, and convey all of the passion you expect between two people in love, without any explicit scenes or harsh language. Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father’s deteriorating health.

We've heard about Sky for a while now, due to her being Pete Lacroux little sister, and it is lovely to hear her story.

Having returned to Provincetown to help her family, Sky is now branching out on her own and opening her own Tattoo Parlour. Things are going according to plan with Blue helping her with the renovations. Now having been home and seen her friends and her older brother, find love and happiness, Sky realises that this is the one thing missing from her life. Unfortunately she has neither control over her heart or time to look. Things change, however, on a night out with friends.

Sawyer Bass is a guitar playing professional boxer. Sawyer is coming up for his last fight and he's hoping that this one will enable him to retire and give him enough winnings to help support his fathers deteriorating health. No matter how much they both feel the instant chemistry, Sky struggles with reconciling the boxing side of Sawyer, with the calm, poetic, caring side of him. As they become closer, they each have battles to overcome if they stand a chance for a happy ever after.

Yet again, a beautifully written story with some strong, emotional storylines. You can really feel for the characters in this book.

This story is just so beautiful and emotional.

We've watched Amy dance around her feeling for Tony over many of the Seaside books. Little did we know there was such a story there. It is such a sweet, beautiful, yet heartbreaking story going back to their teens. I cannot write a summary of the story, without giving too much away. Needless to say this is a wonderful read / listen, touching on some tough subjects, but well worth the read. It has you rooting for them to find each other and realise that their love is real.

Seized by Love is Blue and Lizzie's story. We've met Blue in few stories now as a established character at Seaside and it is great to finally hear his story.

When Blue and Lizzie met for the first time, Blue fell for her and he's not been able to stop thinking about her - only Lizzie has refused every offer of a date, and he is determined to change her mind.

Lizzie runs the Florists by day and by night films a webcast to help fund her sisters college education. To try and stop anyone finding out her secret, she has put her life on hold until her sister as finished college. Unfortunately, things don't go according to her plan.....

This book is again narrated by B J Harrison, who has done so many of Melissa's books. I find his voice very smooth and relaxing, making it very easy to lose track of time when listening.

I never thought I would enjoy audiobooks, but I love them. They make it so easy to enjoy your book when it's difficult to read. The hours spent in the car travelling, have suddenly got so much better :)

The story of Boyd and Janie, is beautiful and touching. Janie is blind and trying to prove to everyone, including her parents, that it is not something that can hold her back. Boyd is fireman, with dreams of becoming a Doctor and is close to achieving his goal. When an accident threatens to change Janie's life and restrict her independence, for the first time she realises that she has to accept the help offered to her by Boyd. As they spend more time together, feelings deepen forcing Boyd to deal with some pain in his past he's been trying to keep hidden.

The voice of B. J. Harrison is very smooth and makes the experience of listening to the book, more enjoyable.

Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna and Kurt are opposites. He is organised and enjoys the solace of his beach house for his writing. Leanna, on the other hand is the complete opposite. She is unorganised and works in chaos, yet they cannot stop thinking about each other.

They meet by chance when Kurt comes Leanna's rescue on the beach during the rain, and when Leanna returns to say thank you, things get a little and they realise there is some truth in the old saying, opposites attract.

During Kurt and Leanna's story, we also begin to meet the girls at Seaside and start to understand the closeness and feeling of family they share. This story only touches on these themes, yet they all have their own story to tell.

Rush and Jayla met as teens and grew up together on the competitive skiing circuit, becoming best friends. Now as adults, the each realise that perhaps they are so much more. Each of them must overcome obstacles to make peace with this, before they can give in to their emotions.

This story follows so well and you find yourself wanting them to just hurry and realise that they belong together. This is one if my favourite Melissa Foster stories.

I didn't think I'd enjoy listening to Melissa Foster books, as I'd already given the character voices, but I love shutting the world out for a few hours and listening to these. The smooth voice of B J Harrison, soothes and relaxes you and you are soon transported into the world of the Bradens etc.

The story of Sienna and Cash is one of my favourites. Who doesn't enjoy a story about a firefighter and It is great to finally meet Sienna, as she has only been a side character in her brothers books and its lovely to finally have her story.

Sienna and Cash don't have the easiest of stories. Their first meeting started well, Cash being the hero and rescuing her from an accident in the snow, and being completely the opposite to the men who usually talked to her. Sienna gets completely caught up in the romance of the rescue, but things soon change. They part not knowing they will see each other again, only to be thrown together at a photoshoot for a firehouse calendar. The spark is still there and the passion intensifies. They both have stories to tell and problems to overcome, but their feelings are their guide back to each other.

Flames of Love is also an introduction to the Ryders, who also have their own stories to tell :)
