I was looking forward to listening to a much loved favourite book of mine, but the I'll chosen American reader overwhelmed all pleasure given by the story, are there no English readers for this quintessential English book??? now looking for book with a different reader,
normally I can get past an accent but this mangling of place names and odd sentence breaks made me give up

If you value your health and that of your loved ones, listen to this book, it is easy to listen to with no high science concepts to wade through, if only all of parliament, hospitals and schools were made to read it. SLEEP IS TOO IMPORTANT TO BE IGNORED

One star given for the effort of turning up,

I have no idea if this book works or changes how I think, simply because I couldn't listen to it past chapter 4,
I was hoping the robotic way of reading would change once the introduction was completed, but sadly no, the reading is worse than my Sat nav,!!! "even excepting the robot speach, the reader is unable to read in full sentences, randomly stopping and starting halfway through, truly awful

the 'science' bits were vaguely interesting but the theory of pain, ghosts etc was frankly rubbish, its not that i need to be convinced about reincarnation, i have read many interesting and enlightened books, this sadly seems to be a creationists rant total rubbish
