Law students Mark, Todd and Zola wanted to change the world - to make it a better place. But these days these three disillusioned friends spend a lot of time hanging out in The Rooster Bar, the place where Todd serves drinks. As third-year students, they realise they have been duped. They all borrowed heavily to attend a law school so mediocre that its graduates rarely pass the bar exam, let alone get good jobs.

All trails became dead ends. Tips that had at first seemed urgent now faded away. The waiting game began. Whoever had the manuscripts would want money, and a lot of it. They would surface eventually, but where and when, and how much would they want? The most daring and devastating heist in literary history targets a high security vault located deep beneath Princeton University. Valued at $25 million, the five manuscripts of F. Scott Fitzgerald's only novels are amongst the most valuable in the world....

Well it started well, promising I thought, but slumped. Then it picked up again, again it disappointed at the end.
I thought so much more would happen with such a good story line, I almost want to rewrite the book myself.
I've enjoyed the previous books by this author and I have another one I've purchased on Audible. I hope it's better than this one. Watch this space. Jess In Wiltshire

In 1886, a mysterious travelling circus becomes an international sensation. Open only at night, constructed entirely in black and white, Le Cirque des Rêves delights all who wander its circular paths and warm themselves at its bonfire. Although there are acrobats, fortune-tellers and contortionists, the Circus of Dreams is no conventional spectacle. Some tents contain clouds, some ice.

This was just as fantastic as the time I read it.
Jim Dales story telling added even more magic and I didn't want the story to end.
A lovely, romantic escape whilst doing the mundane daily chores. I hope Erin Morganstein writes more like this. I have kept my eye open in hope.
Thoroughly recommend this and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Really? Ten minutes in and I'm screaming!!!
I can't listen to Jillian Powers voice any more.

I need to submit this immediately because I've left it playing and I'm desperate to turn it off.
